Feeling Good

So, this week I leave for Puerto Rico. I am extremely excited about this and just life in general right now. I love my classes this semester, I've been going to the gym every day, I start a volunteering job in a couple of weeks and I get to leave the states for a bit. I feel like I'm on a crazy high and I can't come off of it. I mean that in the most positive way possible. I went to Richmond last night to see a friend DJ and had a blast with an amazing group of people. A whole bottle of wine helped, but it would have been just as fun with out the bottle. Good week behind me and a good one to look forward to!

First Day of Classes (This Semester)

I started school today for the the Spring Semester, sounds like it's going to be a busy semester. I am really excited! In one of my classes I have to do 50 hours of volunteer work and in another class I have to observe a child for a certain amount of hours. This semester is going to be a lot of prep work and getting my feet wet. My night class on Tuesday's is only going to be held 8 times and we are to do all of our work outside of the class. No tests, kind of stoked! For the other class I have to read this book, A Child Called "It", this book is really intense. It's about a really bad case of child abuse, but to the point where you think it could be made up, it's not. I have one more class that I have not gone to yet, it is Thursday night. School is coming along, and I am getting more and more excited as the days go by!

Pretty Darn Excited!!

I just bought my plane ticket to Puerto Rico today. I have never been out of the country and I am extremely excited. I leave January 29th and return February 2nd. It will not be a long trip, but a good one. Finally I get to see something other than Virginia!
