X-Mas

So I went to a few Christmas parties this past weekend and I believe I got the best Christmas picture, ever! My friend Vinny posing in the midst of a billion Christmas lights. Party was a lot of fun, tons of sangria and karaoke always make for a great party. I'm still looking forward to my five day get away to New York though. Nothing can beat New York for New Years eve!

Ready for a break!

Yesterday was a good day, well after one of my finals was over with, it was. Ended up going to the boot with a few friends for half off bottles of wine. It felt good to be relaxed and with good company. This semester has had it's ups and downs and I am ready for the spring semester to start. I turn in my last final tonight and then, break time! Now I can looked forward to the fun stuff. A few christmas parties, best friend and brother coming home for christmas and then New York for new years! I'm so excited about New York, I've been wanting to go for a while now and my brother will be going as well. There are a few friends up there, so this should be great.

Day Before Birthday, Halloween

I had such a great day yesterday. Started off with my amazing boyfriend buying me an IPhone, then we went walking around in Colonial Williamsburg and ate at the Wine and Cheese shop. We ended the day dancing at Das Boot. Day light savings gave us another hour to party! 27 could end up being a good year.

Just Can't Get Enough!!!

His music is depressing but in a good way. If that means anything at all, it means that he is amazing and I just can't stop listening to his stuff! A.A. Bondy is worth giving a shot.

My Life (Right Now)

Frustrated- That I'm not finished with school and I should have been a while ago. I am stuck in my current job. I have to settle for the weekends to see my boyfriend. I am moving from the place in which I have lived for 3 years. I missed class tonight because I slept too long.

Excited- About my sister's wedding this coming Saturday. Finally finding someone who completes me. Being in school and working towards my goal. My clean laundry I just did! Thinking about a vacation next March, hopefully out of the states. The Halloween party I will be having next week. Getting to see my brother and my best friend this week. About my cute crazy little dog, she loves me. I have amazing friends and family.

Sick Day...Again

Sick+Bed+New Camera= This

A couple months ago I was at the beach and put my camera in my cooler and the craziest thing happened, the ice from the cooler melted! Soooo, when I went to retrieve what I thought would be an operable camera, I found a broken one instead. Today I decided to gain a new one, so with Milan's help, I ended up purchasing a Canon Power Shot SD780 IS. I am extremely happy with this camera and I cannot wait to really start using this bad boy!

This Weather Sucks

I am sick, this is what crappy weather does to me. My allergies are all wacky and I have a bad cold. I will not be attending work today, so I can rest and get ready for my sister's "shin-dig" this Saturday. I am nervous about getting a limo, kind of a new experience for me.

Back in School

So, after a year I am finally back in school! This has been a very long journey and now I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have worked full time and put myself through school for the past 7 years and it makes me extremely happy to think that all of this is finally paying off. Today I almost cried out of excitement when meeting with my advisor and this time next year I will have my degree!

I was driving home today and NPR played a cute little "diddy".  Stuart Murdoch from Belle and Sebastian has started a side project that has been a great success.  Well, he actually was working on this while playing with Belle and Sebastian but it's new to me.   He held auditions to find the perfect female vocalists for some of his songs and ended up finding 2 females that fit what he was looking for!  God Help The Girl is definitely something worth checking out.

Father's Day

               This little phone of my mine takes some okay looking shots, these was taken today, I was headed to my brother's house for a cookout.  I was listening to South (the band that I just made a post about) while driving there and it couldn't have fit together any better.  While still feeling sick, this made me feel good.

Complain, complain, complain...

I'm not feeling well and haven't for the past couple of days.  There is some kind of flu going around and I think I caught the darn thing.  I went to my parents today but only to feel more sick, so I left.  I'm completely broke right now and I tried watching a movie and it won't work.  The fact that I'm sick is making me feel completely high strung and stressed out and annoyed about the smallest things.  I just feel like crap and wish someone could come take care of me, that would be nice!

#4- Busch Gardens is only 45 min away

#6- The Taphouse- amazing food, beer and you can play pool too!

#7- Riding the Ferry to Portsmouth or Norfolk

#8- The Chrysler Museum- has great exhibits
